Our Story
Two nice Jewish boys who want to help!

Thanks for your interest! If you have gotten this far, you are probably wondering, “who the heck are these guys?” I have lived in Sharon for over 30 years, and along with my wife Sandra, raised our family here, and am currently a member of Temple Sinai and The Sharon Men’s Club. I have recently retired from the high tech business world where I was a consulting Partner at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte Consulting and recently held positions at GE Digital and an Israeli start-up. In order to keep myself busy, (in addition to helping care for my grandson), I decided to team up with Steven on a way to give back to the community, and hence, Mensches with Wrenches was conceived. I credit my father for developing my handy man skills and my mother for whatever mensch-ness I can claim. I also write a weekly blog, The Jew News Review, which is free and open to all. You can check it out here with this link http://www.jewnewsreview.com.

Thank you for visiting our website. I grew up in Sharon, but now reside in Plainville. I graduated from the University of Rochester. Then from the New England College of Optometry. I opened up a private practice in Foxboro and finally decided to retire in 2022. My dad was a mechanic for Eastern Airlines. I grew up fixing everything. Dad taught me well. Mom? She cooked for me and I learned how to eat as a result. I am still practicing that wonderful Jewish tradition. I like to putter and thought that it would be a good way to spend my retirement. Helping those who need a hand. I’ve known Brad since he met his wife (a nice Sharon girl)…40 years ago! He is the one responsible for the website. I can barely turn on a computer. But, don’t worry…I can fix a lot of other stuff. Brad and I look forward to helping you with those projects that will make your life easier.
